What a crazy week with early release, late start, and snow day due to the winter weather. This week we continued our Christmas preparation. On Monday, we celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Guadeloupe. Plus we spent some time learning about the poinsettia with the story Legend of the Poinsettia and then creating a paper poinsettia flower ornament. On Tuesday, we also explored the relationship between goods and services along with reviewing wants and needs. On Wednesday, we read about the important job of the angel bringing the good news to the shepherd. Then we made an angel ornament out of beads. On Friday, we created a Christmas tree ornament with foam and gems as we talked about the history of the Christmas tree.
