We had a fantastic first week in the Kindergarten classroom! It was such a joy to meet all our new friends. We kicked off the school year by reading the story Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten. In it, we learned about the various activities Miss Bindergarten and her students do to prepare for the first day. Each of us shared something we did to get ready for school. Throughout the week, we focused on establishing our daily routines, such as lining up, walking in the hallway, and lunchtime. Additionally, we read several stories featuring Clifford the Big Red Dog, discovering how he assists Emily Elizabeth and the community. We also brainstormed ways we could make a difference too.
