As Easter draws near, we have been exploring the themes of Lent and Easter together. Our journey began on Ash Wednesday when we received ashes, marking the start of this special time. Over the past few weeks, we have taken the time to color each of the Stations of the Cross. These Stations serve as important reminders of what Jesus experienced leading up to his death. This week, we dived into several stories about the First Easter and began creating a flipbook that captures the significant events of Holy Week.
We also listened to a story that involved a story about Skunk being the Easter Bunny’s assistant. Inspired by this, we all applied for the job by writing about why we would make great helpers! To wrap up our week, we got creative and made beautiful dot cross pictures.
In light of the whirlwind of activities last week, we didn't have the opportunity to finalize our writing project. Therefore, we also dedicated time to explore the concept of a garden. We first chose whether we wanted to plant a vegetable garden or a flower garden, and then we shared our reasons for our choices and what we would plant in our gardens.
